Recital is the newest series from Whisky Concerto, launched in 2024, featuring whiskies selected by individual shareholders according to their unique preferences. Recital 57 represents the discerning taste of Richard & Winnie, co-owners of both Whisky Concerto and Cask Le Sens.

This exceptional Glenglassaugh represents the first double maturation whisky carefully selected by Richard & Winnie. The spirit spent five years developing in a bourbon cask before being transferred to a first-fill Oloroso hogshead for an additional four and a half years of maturation.

The sherry influence enhances rather than overwhelms, allowing Glenglassaugh's distinctive post-2009 character to shine through- bright citrus notes complemented by subtle minerality that defines this modern expression.

Half/Full carries deliberate dual significance. It demonstrates the influences of double maturation that marries bourbon and sherry cask. Additionally, it reflects a unique collaboration: approximately half of this exceptional cask was shared with Anam na h-alba, our German importer and a devoted Glenglassaugh enthusiast, who bottled their portion at a reduced ABV. This bottle represents the remaining half, presented at full cask strength to showcase the whisky's uncompromised intensity and character.
